Patrik "Raistlin" Hellstrand sat down with Rene "Ciara" Krag about the recent move from MeetYourMakers Scandinavia to the international squad and his World Cyber Games performance.

1So, you're back in the MeetYourMakers International team. What does this mean, concretely?

- I hope this means I'll be given a chance to prove myself, of course I need to actually practice again to be given a spot. But I'm ready to put the time into it. So time will tell if I get the chance or not.

2Many have said that it is very hard to enter an all-Korean lineup as a foreigner, but you have been in the MYM team for a very long time and shown to be a valuable player in the MYM shirt - don't you think yourself that you should have earned a spot?
많이는 외국인으로서 모두한국인인 라인업에 들어가기가 힘들것이라고 말했다. 하지만 당신은 매우 오랬동안 MYM팀에 있었고 MYM 셔츠에 가치있는 선수라는것을 보여주었다.- 당신은 당신이 자리를 얻을어야한다고 스스로 생각할수없는가?
- Well maybe at my current shape the guys in the lineup are better at the moment. So it's only fair that they are first choice. But practice makes perfect and maybe if I improve enough I'll be given a chance or two to prove myself valuable to the team.
- 최근 상태에서 라인업에서 사람들은 당장에는 더 낳을지도 모른다. 그래서 그들이 1진인것은 공정하다. 하지만 연습은 완벽하게 만들고 내가 충분히 향상된다면 나는 팀에서 스스로 가치를 증명할 한번이나 2번의 기회가 주어질지도 모른다.

3Were there any doubt for you whether to continue in MYM or join another organization?

- I'm not one for switching team easily. I've been in MYM ever since I started playing for real almost, and had my shares of offers but none that could have made me switch. There are always some parts of the deals that doesn't fit me well, like maybe players I didn't work well with or contract that seemed kinda weak for what they were asking.
- 나는 쉽게 팀을 바꾸는 이가 아니다. 나는 내가 실제 거의모든것에대한 경기하는것을 시작한 이래 MYM에 있었다. 그리고 제공된 나의 역활을 가졌지만 내가 변경을 만드는 어떤것도 없다. 거기에는 항상 내가 성능이 좋지않거나 그들이 요구한것에대해 약한 종류로 보여지는 것을 계약한 선수들 일지도 모르는 것처럼 내게 잘 맞지안는 사항의 어떤 부분이 있다.
4Well, anyway, in the official newspost it's said that you are to work as "backups" for the Korean players - wouldn't it be more satisfying to be able to play in WC3L and NGL-ONE in the main lineup?
어떤식으로든 공식적인 새직에서 그것은 한국 선수들을 위한 백업으로써 일하는것이다라고 말해졌다. - 메인 라인업에 WC3L과 NGL-ONE에 경기하는것이 할수있게되는것이 더 만족스럽지 안는가?
- Yes, but I think this "backups" is cause of current shape of me and Konna and this should mean we are given a chance at some point to prove ourselves among the Koreans and if we don't screw those chances up too much we might be given more play time.
- 맞다. 하지만 나는 이 "백업"이 물론 나와 Konna의 최근 상태때문이다라고 생각한다. 그리고 이는 한국인들 사이에서 우리스스로 증명할수있는 어떤 점에서 기회가 주어졌다는것을 의미해야한다.그리고 우리가 이들 기회를 너무 많이 실수하지안는다면 우리는 더 많은 경기 시간을 가질지 모른다.
5Has your contract changed in any way by joining the international MYM division?
당신의 계약이 국제 MYM 팀에 합류함으로써 어떤 방법으로 바뀌어졌는가?
- Not sure I should answer this or want too, but I've always been a little different from the rest of MYM.Sca when it comes to contracts.
- 내가 이를 답해야만 하거나 너무나도 원하는것은 물론 아니다. 하지만 계약할때 항상 MYM.Sca의 나머지완 조금 달랐다.
6Is the Danish/Scandinavian scene going down that much that it is not worth having such a squad? What are your impressions?
덴마크인/스칸디나비아인 무대는 그런 팀을 가지고있는거이 가치가 없는것으로 많이 죽어가고있는가?
당신의 인상은 어떤가?
- Hmm, I don't think the Scandinavian scene is going down at all. But the Danish scene been dying slowly. Once all the old onces like Bjarke and Kaj left, there just haven't been anyone to replace them. And the community seems to be dying slowly too.
- 흠, 나는 스칸디나비아인 무대가 죽어가고있는것을 전혀 생각하지안는다. 하지만 덴마크 무대는 느리게 죽어가고있다. ysk Bjarke와 Kaj같은 이전에 모든 올드가 일찎이 떠난후, 그기에는 그들을 대체할 어떤이가 있지안았다. 그리고 커뮤니티도 느리게 죽어가고있는것으로 보인다.
7But there are loads of talented players out there from the Nordic countries, and I'm not thinking of the Danish players. If you were the one making the choices, would you have kept MYM.Sca?
하지만 저쪾에 북유럽 국가 출신의 재능있는 선수들의 짐이 있다. 그리고 나는 덴마크 선수들을 생각하고있지안다. 당신이 기회를 만드는 어떤이였다면 당신은 MYM.Sca를 계속 유지할것인가?
- Eh, hard one... The current shape of the team in general was too low and people didn't seem to be active at all. I think it was gonna come to this point eventually.
- 힘든 ... 일반적인 팀의 현제 상태는 너무나 낮고 사람들은 전혀 활동적이지 안아 보인다. 나는 그것이 되어가는것은 결국 이점이이라고 생각한다.
8What would you say was MYM.Sca's biggest success?
당신은 MYM.Sca의 가장큰 성공은 무엇이라고 말할것인가?
- This WC3L qualifier actually! We manage to make it to last round of Wc3L and lost to team fnatic which I think was expected. Though it kinda saddens me to think with some luck we could have beaten them. ThomasG was out on vacation and would have taken MyWa's spot against Rob - which is his best matchup. And Konna kinda made a stupid TP in 2on2 and same time he played 2-1 vs XyLigan where I think he should have won the first game which he lost.
- 실제 이 WC3L 예선통과자 ! 우리는 WC3L의 지난 라운드에서 그것을 만드는것을 해냈고 내가 생각하기에 기대했던 team fnatic에게 졌다. 어떤 운과 함께 생각하는 내게는 슬펐지만 우리는 그들에게 두들겨 맞았다. ThomasG는 휴가에 밖에있었고 그의 최고의 대전인 - Rob에 맞서 MyWa의 자리를 가졌다. 그리고 Konna는 2on2에서 멍청한 팀플을 만들었고 같은때 그는 내가 그가 졌던 첫 게임을 이겨야했다고 생각했던 XyLigan에 맞서 2-1로 경기했다.
9You recently won the World Cyber Games in Denmark - did you doubt that you would end up in first place again?

- To be honest I was counting on winning. I said no to going on a trip to Spain with school because of the Danish WCG qualifier. And I had already paid it, but I really really want to go to USA so I could not miss this chance.
- 정직하게 나는 우승하는것을 기대하고있었다. 나는 덴마크 WCG 예선때문에 학교와 함께 Spain에 여행을 가려는것이 아니다고 말했다. 그리고 나는 이미 그것을 지불했다. 하지만 정말 정말 USA에 가기를 원한다. 그리고 나는 이 기회를 놓치지 안을수있다.
10The only player who won a game versus you was SquiRReL - are you unthreatened in the Danish scene?
당신에 맞서 게임을 승리한 오직 한선수는 SquiRReL이다. - 당신은 덴마크 무대에서 위협받을까?
- Actually I think i got lucky since ThomasG lost to Wralth since I hate playing against him. I think he is really good against Orc and he practice it a lot to beat me. and I can't say I didn't get a little happy seeing him lose to Wralth. And SquiRReL played really well in the first game and I was completely caught of guard and he took the game easy.
-실제 나는 ThomasG가 내가 그에 맞서 경기하는것을 실어했기때문에 Wralth에게진 이래 나는 행운을 가졌다고 생각한다. 나는 그가 오크에 맞서 정말 좋다고 생각하고 그는 나를 이기기위해 많이 연습한다. 그리고 나는 내가 Wralth에게 진 그를 보는것은 조금 행복하지 안다고 말할수없다. 그리고 SquiRReL은 정말 첫 게임에서 잘 경기했고 나는 완벽하게 방어자세를 잡았고 그는 쉬운 게임을 가졌다.
11Lastly, what do you wish the most right now?
마지막으로 당신은 바로 지금 무엇를 바라는가?
- I really hope the rest of former MYM.Sca get into clans worthy of them and they don't settle for nothing less. And that Konna would get his ass into gear and quit his massive whine about Elf and Human!
- 나는 이전의 MYM.Sca의 나머지가 그들의 가치로 클랜활동을 하고 그들이 적어도 어떤것도 아닌것을위해 이주하지 안기를 정말 바라란다. 그리고 저 Konna는 순조롭게 그의 몸을 움직이고 엘프와 휴먼에대해 그의 흐느끼는 소리를 그만할것이다.
