Rasmus "carnifex" Frost는 WCG 2007의 그룹스테이지를 예측한다.

The top two of each group will advance to the single elimination brackets, where the winners will be determined.

각그룹의 정상 둘은 우승자들이 결정되어질 Single Elimination Barackets으로 진출할것이다.

As usual, there are some players who will advance in their group pretty sure while others have to be afraid to not be able to do so. Let's have a look at the groups.

항상 거기에는 그들의 그룹에서 꽤 확실히 진출할 어떤선수들이있다. 반면 다른이들은 그렇게 하는것이 가능하지안다는것을 두려워해야만한다. 그룹를 훑어보자.

Group A

This group does not seem to be the hardest one, although one of the players who can go very far in the tournament is in it - HoT. It looks like the Ukrainian superstar from SK Gaming will make it to the first place in his group for sure, the more interesting question is: Who will make it to the second place?

토너먼트에서 매우 멀리갈수있는 선수들중 하나 - HoT - 가 그것에 있지만 이 그룹은 가장 힘든것중 하나로 보여지지안는다. 그것은 SK Gaming출신 우크라이나인 슈퍼스타가 확실히 그의 그룹에서 첫번째 자리로 만들것처럼 보인다. 더 재미있는 질문은 "누가 두번째 자리일것인가?" 이다.

XyLigan might be the favorite here, with a good day he would maybe also be able to beat HoT and make it to the first place. But also LongWalk is doing very good lately and might be the one to beat if one wants to become first or second. The others seem not to be able to make it into the top two rankings of Group A.

XyLigan은 그가 HoT를 이기고 첫번째 자리를 만들 좋은날과 함께 여기 진출후일지모른다. 하지만 또 LongWalk는 최근 매우 좋다. 그리고 어떤이가 첫번째나 두번째가 되기를 원한다면 이겨야할 이일지도 모른다. 다른이들은 Group A의 top 2 순위안으로 그것을 만드는것이 가능하지안아보인다.

The outcome in this group is quite sure as there are two of the biggest candidates for the overall final competing. Moon and ToD - it does not look like any of the others can overcome these two powerhouses and finish first or second, although TeRRoR, DNA and Ghost are quite known to the community as well.

경쟁하는 전체 Final에대해 가장큰 후보들의 둘이 있기떄문에 이그룹에서 결과는 꽤 확실하다. Moon과 ToD - 그것은 다른이들이 이들 두 최고의 선수들을 넘을수있을것처럼 보지안는다. 그리고 TeRRoR,DNA나 Ghost가 커뮤니티에 꽤 알려졌지만 첫번쨰나 두번째로 마친다.

But who will finish first, the Korean 'fifth race' or the French superstar? They both can beat each other and have showed so several times, but it looks more like Moon will be able to finish first, since he is playing Nightelf and ToD is complaining about the Human vs. Elf matchup quite often. Nonetheless ToD will give him a tough battle and can finish first as well, it's going to be interesting who will make it in the end.

하지만 첫번째로 마칠이는 한국 "제5종족" 이나 프랑스 슈퍼스타? 그들은 서로 각각 다른이를 패배시킬수있고 그렇게 여러번 보여주었다. 하지만 그가 Nightelf를 경기하고 toD는 human vs Elf 매치업을 꽤자주 불평해왔기때문에 Moon이 더 첫번째로 마치수있을것같이 본다. 그럼에도 불구하고 ToD는 힘든 전투를 그에게 줄것이다. 그리고 게다가 첫번쨰로 마칠수있다. 그것은 그것을 끝으로 만들것은 누구인지가 흥미있을것이다.

Maybe the easiest group this year. XlorD will finish first and the others battle for the second rank. The prediction for the group winner seems quite easy, but the prediction for the second place is much harder. HasuHasi is quite known in the German community but isn't a world class player. The others are, like HasuHasi, most likely only known in national communities and no one had his breakthrough in the international scene. Although it is very hard to predict the second place finisher, it is easy to predict their further way in the single elimination tournament: Whoever qualifies will be out in the first round, everything else would be one of the biggest surprises in WC3's WCG history.

올해 가장쉬운 그룹일지모른다. XlorD는 첫번째로 마칠것이다. 다른이들은 두번쨰 순위를 위해 전투를 한다. 그룹 승리자 예측은 꽤 쉽다. 하지만 두번째 자리에대한 예측은 많이 힘들다. HasuHasi는 독일 커뮤니티에 꽤 알려졌다. 하지만 세계 급 선수는 아니다. HasuHasi같은 다른이들은  국내 커뮤니티에만 잘 알려졌고 국제무대에서 그의 큰발전은 없다. 두번째 자리 마치친사람을 예측하는것은 매우 힘들지만, 그것은 Single elimination tournament에 그들의 미래의 길을 예측하는것은 쉽다.: 진출하는사람이 누구든 첫라운드에서 탈락할것이다. 그렇지 안으면 무엇이든지 WC3의 WCG역사에 가장큰 놀라움중의 하나일것이다.

After the group that's considered as the weakest this year, let's come to the group of death! Two Koreans, one Chinese - Lyn, SoJu and Sky. This would almost be enough to say Group D is the group of death, but next to these world class players there are some more! ZeuS for example. Although he doesn't seem to be in his best shape - what's the case almost every time - he showed the WarCraft 3 world that he can surprise very much. At ESWC 2006 he finished second, something nobody would have expected before the tournament, next to this he showed his real strength at some WC3L finals, scoring the important and deciding points for his team - although he was considered to not be in shape. Next to this, Lose from Lithuania and for sure Ciara are players who can beat the so called top players at a good day as well.

올해 가장약한그룹에대해 고려되는 그룹후에 죽음의 그룹으로 오자! 두명의 한국인, 한명의 중국인 - Lyn,SoJu와 SKy. 이는 Group D가 죽음의조라고 말하기에 충분할것이다. 그러나 이들 세계 수준 선수들 다음 거기에는 좀더있다! 예을들어 ZeuS. 그가 - 거의 매번의 경우에 - 상태가 좋아보이지안지만 그는 그가 매우 많이 놀라게 할수있는 WarCraft 3 세계를 보여주었다. ESWC2006에 그는 2번째로 마쳤다. 어떤이도 토너먼트 전에 예측할수없었던것, 이다음에  그가 상태가 좋지 안다고 생각되어지지만 그는 그의 팀을위해 점수를 결정하고 중요한것을 득점한 WC3L final에서 그의 실제 힘을 보여주었다. 이다음에 리튜바니아의 Lose와 Ciara는 확실히 좋은 날에는 정상의 선수들을 불러내 이길수있는 선수들이다.

Nonetheless it looks like Lyn and Sky will be the ones to beat if the others want to make it into the top two. The best chances next to them has got SoJu if he trained enough the last weeks.

그럼에도 불구하고 다른이들이 정상의 둘로 만들길르 원한다면 Lyn과 Sky가 어떤이를 패배시킬것 처럼 보인다. 그가 지난주에 충분히 연습을 했다면 그들 다음의 최고의 기회는 SoJu가 가졌다.

Group E could be called average. The first place will most likely go to SaSe, being followed by either Protois or Konna. SaSe can be beaten by those two aswell though, since he seems to be no too stable. One day he beats almost everyone and another he loses to players being seen as far worse than him. Protois and Konna are good players but will have to overcome their nerves, since they don't have that much experience with such a big event. The other players are only underdogs, if everything comes as expected they won't play such a big role in this group, although Firestrike for example has got some experience as welll.

Group E는 평균이으로 불려질수있다. Protois나 Konna가 뒤따르면서 첫번째 자리는 SaSe로 갈것이다.  그가 너무나 안적이지지 안다는것을 보여주었기때문에 SaSe는 게다가 이들 둘에의해 패배할수있다. 어떤날 그는 거의 모든이들을 패배시켰고 또다른날 그는 그보다더 못하는 선수들에게 졌다. Protois와 Konna는 좋은 선수들이다. 하지만 그런 큰이벤트에 많은 경험을 갖지안았기때문에 그들의 정신력으로 극복해야만 한다. 다른 선수들은 오직 희생자이다. 예로서 firestrike가 약간의 경험을 가졌지만 모든것은 그들이 이 그룹에서 큰 역활을 하지 안기떄문에 예측되어진다.

Once again the first place finisher seems to be quite clear. Fly100% has showed that he is able to beat almost every world class player at the last NGL-One finals and therefore is the big favorite to end on top of this group. The second place will most likely go to TiTaN, who might not be on the very top of his game but still is doing very good. He could also be able to beat Fly100% on a good day, but it more looks like he should keep an eye on MysT, who might surprise by becoming second instead of TiTaN.

다시한번 첫번째로 마치는 사람은 꽤 명백해 보인다. Fly100%는 그가 지난 NGL-One Final에서 거의 모든 세계 급 선수를 패배시키는것이 가능한것을 보여주었다. 그리고 그러므로 이 그룹의 정상에 끝으로 유력한 진출후보이다. 두번쨰 자리는 그의 게임이 매우 정상이 아닐지모르지만 여전히 매우 좋게하는 TiTaN으로 갈것같다. 그는 또한 좋은 날에 Fly100%를 패배시키는것을 가능하게 할수있을것이다. 하지만  그가 TiTaN대시에 두번째가 됨으로써 놀랄지 모르는 MysT를 지켜바야할것처럼  보인다.

Two month ago the winner of Group G would have been a clear guess: Creolophus. But nowadays his name is some kind of question mark. How good is he after officially quitting his career as a professional player and starting to study again? He was 2007's best and most successful player until he quit gaming, being top three in almost every big tournament he participated in. Now he might lack training, but how fast does someone become worse? The biggest competitors of Creolophus seem to be the Canadian APM, Swift from Russia and sLh from Poland and therefore Creo should still be able to win the group, although he might not be in best shape.

두달전 Group G는 명백히 예측- Creolophhus- 을헀었을것이다.하지만 요즘 그의 이름은 의문의가면의 어떤종류이다. 그가 공식적으로 프로선수로서 그의 경력을 종료하고 다시 공부를 시작한것은 얼마나 좋은가? 그가 참가하는 거의 모든 토너먼트에서 정상 3번이였던 게임하는것을 종료할때까지 그는 2007의 최고이고 가장 성공적인 선수였다. 이제 그는 연습하는것이 부족할지모른다. 하지만 어떤이가 보나 못한것이 되는것은 얼마나 빠른가? Creolophus의 가장큰 경쟁자는 캐나나인 APM,러시아의 Swift와 폴란드의 sLh인것으로 보여진다. 그리고 그러므로 그가 최고의 상태가 아닐지모르지만 Creo는 여전히 그룹에서 우승할수있을것이다.

The last group but for sure not only favorites for the last places! Grubby and xiaOt will battle out the first two places, if Giacomo can't surprise and win the Undead vs Orc matchup - which is considered to favor Orc players - against one of them. DeMuslim seems not to be able to beat the two Orcs, but who knows, maybe WCG2007 is the tournament where he shows that he's a real 'King'?

마지막 그룹 하지만 마지막 자리에대한 진출후보가 확실하지안타. Giacomo가 놀라게  그들중의 하나에 맞서 - 언데드에게 유리하다고 생각되어지는 - Undead vs Orc 매치업을 승리할수없다면Grubby와 xiaOt는 첫번째 두자리를 놓고 싸울것이다.  DeMuslim은 패배시킬수 없을것으로 보여진다. 하지만 누가 알듯이 WCG2007은 그가 정말 왕?이라는것을 보여주는 토너면트 일지도 모른다.

The battle for the first place is something that isn't too easy to predict. Grubby seems to be the better player than xiaOt overall, but as almost everyone knows the mirror matches aren't his strength at all. But since almost everyone knows so, Grubby will know best and might train it a lot.

첫번쨰 자리을위한 전투는 예측하기가 너무나 쉽지않은 어떤것이있다. Grubby는 전체적으로 xiaOt보다 더 낳은 선수로 보여진다.  하지만 거의 모든사람들이 알듯이 동족전 경기는 가가 전혀 강하지안타. 하자만 거의 모든 사람들은 그렇게 알고있기때문에 Grubby는 잘 알것이고 많이 그것을 연습했을지모른다.
