Cyberathlete Professional League (The CPL) and its committee has today announced surprising news. The CPL has revealed a new tournament with a huge prize purse of $50,000 added in. Last time we saw the addition of CS: Source tournament, but now it is time for Counter-Strike 1.6!

Cyberathlete Professional League(The CPL)과 그것의 위원회는 오늘 놀라운 뉴스를 발표했다. CPL은  $50,000를 더한 거대한 상금과 함께 새 토너먼트를 드러냈다. 지난때 우리는 CS:Source tournament의 추가를 봤다. 하지만 이제 그것은 Counter-Strike 1.6에대한 때다!


The tournament will be held during the CPL Extreme Winter event between 18th - 22nd December 2007 at the Hyatt Regency in Dallas, TX.

토너먼트는 TX Dallas에 Hyatt Regency에 2007년 12월 18일과 22일사이에 CPL Extreme Winter event 동안 잡힐것이다.

The winter episode will include a unique feature, when the winners of both Counter-Strike tournaments will after own finals face in CPL Extreme Winter Grand Finals, which will in the end decide the 2007 World Champions of Counter-Strike. The committee have already decided that the Grand Final will be played by using de_nuke, de_dust2 and de_cpl_mill maps.

겨울 에피소드는 독득한 특징을 포함할것이다. 두 Counter-Strike 토너먼트의 우승자들이 자신의 파이널후에 마지막으로 2007 World Champions of Counter-Strike를 결정할 CPL Extreme winter Grand Final에 직면 할 것이다. 위원회는 이미 Grand Final이 de_nuke,de_dust2와 de_cpl_mill 맵들을 사용함으로써 경기되어지는것을 결정했다.

All teams who have plans to participate, should register themselves at CPL's registration page. Registration opens on 10th September.

참석할 계획을 갖고있는 모든팀들은 CPL의 등록 페이지에 그들스스로 등록을 해야한다. 등록은 9월 10일에 열린다.

Important notice regarding the tournaments:

토너먼트에 관련된 중요한 주의

Pro, semi-pro and causal Counter-Strike teams can register for either tournament. No pre-qualification is required. Both tournaments will be held on high-end tournament computers. To manage the large amount of computers required, the registration for the Counter-Strike tournaments will close promptly on Monday, October 29, 2007. If the 64-spots for each tournament are not all taken by the close of the tournament registration, an adjustment in tournament size and cash prizes will be determined by the league. Registration spots are not secured until at least five-members of a team have registered online. The CPL will not hold spots, offer special considerations or give discounted passes to any team.

Pro, semi-pro와 관꼐되는 counter-Strike팀들은 또한 토너먼트에대해 등록할수있다. 어떤 사전의 지원자격은 요구되지안는다. 양 토너먼트는 최고급 토너먼트 컴퓨터로 잡혀질것이다. 컴퓨터의 큰양를 관리하기위해 Counter-Strike토너먼트에대한 등록은 2007년 10월 29일에 즉시 닫일것이다. 각 토너먼트에대한 64자리가 토너먼트 등록을 닫음으로써 모두 취해지지안는다면 토너먼트 사이즈와 현상금에 조정은 리그에의해서 결정되어질것이다. 등록자리는 팀의 최소 5명의 맴버가 온라인 등록될때까지 확보되지 않는다. CPL은 특별한 배려를 제공하거나 어떤팀에게 할인 표를 주는 자리를 잡지안을것이다.
